The Journal of Teaching &Learning Innovation is an international, peer-reviewed journal. The journal seeks manuscripts that provide new teaching and Learning experiences a critical examination educational contexts at university level. The journal publishes original research that contributes to theoretical and applied questions in teaching and learning. These may include: issues related to new learning tools, gamification, flipped classroom, distance learning, data learning analysis or student’s competences and in general experiences or research in the field of teaching at higher educational level and theories of teaching and learning. The journal also welcomes critical and exploratory essays that focus on current educational issues. The Journal of Teaching and Learning is published once on a year. Submissions are anonymously peer-reviewed.
Types of Manuscripts
Research Articles: Research articles include 10-20 page manuscripts that are theoretical or empirical in nature. Research articles are to be well grounded in the relevant literature and present knowledge, methods, and insights relevant to higher education teaching and learning innovation. The broad scope of the journal and its diverse readership necessitates that research articles address issues that have a wide appeal and significance to higher education practioners.
Instructional Articles: Instructional articles are 10-20 page manuscripts designed to explain and describe innovative higher education teaching methods. Instructional articles, while grounded in the literature on higher education pedagogy, focus on the detailed explanation of tentative, emerging, or alternative teaching methodologies rather than the reporting of empirical data.
Review Articles: Review articles are 3-5 page manuscripts (1,000 - 1,500 words) that include commentaries and evaluations of recently published works - books, articles, or web sites - related to higher education teaching innovation-

By submitting to JT&LI authors are confirming that the manuscript has not been published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions to JT&LI must be made online through the Online Submission Form. Do not send submissions by email or postal mail. Submissions must be blinded for peer review and uploaded as one “.doc” file. Prior to submitting a manuscript, please read carefully the Submission Guidelines. JT&LI accepts manuscripts between15th on February and a September 15th of each year. does not have article processing charges and does not have submission charges.
Following a brief editorial review to determine the manuscript's appropriateness, up to two reviewers will blind review each manuscript. The review process will take approximately 12 weeks. At the end of the review process authors will be notified as to the status of their manuscripts - accept, reject but encourage resubmission, or reject - and will receive substantive feedback from the reviewers.
Manuscript authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permissions for any copyrighted materials included within manuscripts. The authors must provide permission letters, when appropriate, to the Editors.
