Abstract

A study on E. coli from piglets diarrhea and healty sows was performed. The isolation and characterization, serotyping, fimbriae, antibiotics resistance, enterotoxins productions, biovars and plasmid profile show the existence of specific serovar not typable with the classical antisera, which is associated to K88 fimbrial antigen as so 987P pilus toghether to the ordinary 0147, 0141 and 0149, forming patovars STa associated.
