Abstract

A comparison is made between EDTA and AA (atomic absorplion) as Ca determination methods in graminous and leguminous plants. Another comparison is also made between a colorimesame method, a gravimetric method, EDTA method and AA method for Mg determinntion in the same aboindicated  samples and in other samples of different vegetal origin.
EDTA method is usually the most suitable in Ca determination. However, the best results in Mg determination were obtained by AA method.
