Abstract

The great interest that the knowledge of values of Alcaline Phosphatase (FA), Cholinesterase (CE), Transaminase Glutamic-Oxalacetic (TGO) and Transaminase Glutamic-Pyruvic (TGP), has to diagnose certain hepatic diseases, has induced to us to carry out this work.
We have determined the value of these enzymes from hematic serum of 25 adult cows having well definite lesions or wounds of hepatic cirrhosis by utilizing the techniques indicated.
According to the resultats obtained, we think the high levels in hematic serum of FA, TGO and TGP y los bajos en CE are elements of great value to diagnose hepatic cirrhosis in bovine animals.
