Abstract

Sorne specimens of Notocoly.tus imbricatus (LOOSS 1894), SZIDAT, 1935 (Trematoda, Notocotylidae), cecal parasites from swans (Cygnus olor. L.) proceding from Gijón, in the North of Spain, are described. It is the first time this trematode is identifiéd in this country, and we have considered that the host is new to the above parasite.

Sorne speciniens of Bythinia tentaculata (Mollusca. Prosobranchia) heavily parasited by triocellated monostomid cercarías, similar to Cercaria imbricata (LOOSS, 1893), were found in swans'habitat.
