摘要

本文基于多明我会神父如高母羡（Juan Cobo）、贝纳比德斯（Miguel Benavides）、黎尼妈（Domingo de Nieva）和多麻氏（Tomás Mayor）等人的中文著作与书信，以及其他相关资料，分析这些作者的汉学水平及其对中华文化的态度，探讨他们在马尼拉（菲律宾）学习中国语言与文化的过程，以及他们所依赖的材料。本文旨在厘清其汉学研究的主要目的、方法、手段及成果，以及他们如何将汉学知识应用于传教工作。本研究还将他们的汉学研究置于特定的历史与地理背景中，以客观地评价16世纪末至17世纪初西班牙传教士汉学研究的特点。
