Currently, girls, boys, adolescents and young people study and socialize in a context marked by the so-called postmodernity, characterized by the dissolution of all categories and dualisms, including the sexual dimorphism of the human species. Social relationships and ties have also suffered a gradual dissolution, being largely replaced by the substitute of virtual relationships through participation on the Internet, forming a society of individualities exposed in the digital image market. All of this has affected the socialization process of childhood, adolescence and youth, also impacting their learning process within the school, as well as in the educational system itself. Coeducation, a feminist tool to eradicate machismo from the educational field, now faces new challenges in relation to the new forms of gender inequality that have emerged in the last two decades among students, in the same way as feminism as a social movement and perspective. of analysis confronts them in many other areas. The purpose of this issue is to address and delve into the relationships and problems that have emerged both in feminism and coeducation and in the socialization of childhood and youth, including its digital aspect, in the postmodern context.
