Open access policy

Cuestiones de Género promotes open access to scientific literature and provides researchers with free access to all articles from the moment of their publication.

The journal will under no circumstances charge authors for publishing openly. Making research freely available to the public encourages greater global knowledge exchange, favors the visibility of authors and works, and facilitates their early citation.

Cuestiones de Género exclusively uses the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in such a way as to suggest that you or your use are endorsed by the licensor.
  • Non-Commercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
  • Share Alike: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contribution under the same license as the original.

No additional restrictions—You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from making any use permitted by the license.
