Abstract

This text contains a brief clinical report. The reason for including it has been to take advantage of it as a metaphor on which to support some reflections on the difficulties and setbacks of women in relation to the place they have occupied within the social discourse before and now. The axis of the text goes through an attempt to recover some aspects of the hysterical discourse, trying to separate it from the contemptuous category that it has come to have (in phrases such as "don't get hysterical"). Recover it as subversive against the discourse of a Master represented in the socio-cultural imperatives; with the intention of asking ourselves to what extent what in her day was a subversive turn has turned against women, pushing her, under other paradigms, to return to the place of being everything for the other.
