Abstract

This work vindicates the role of women through the concept of "insolence," understood as a challenge to established norms. It explores, from an interdisciplinary perspective, how women writers and artists have resisted patriarchal structures throughout history, from the Golden Age to the present. With a focus on literature, art, and gender studies, the book highlights the struggle for visibility, autonomy, and a critical reinterpretation of the Hispanic literary and artistic canon. This review proposes to study the relationship between gender studies and literature in seven lines of research, as well as the need to include this type of work in primary and secondary school classrooms due to the countless benefits it would entail.
